Preventive measures against the new coronavirus

In response to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, we are taking the following measures to ensure the health and safety of our customers and employees.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Requests to Customers

  • To prevent droplet infection, please wear a mask when visiting the museum.
  • We have alcohol-based disinfectant installed in various locations, so please cooperate by using it.
  • We ask for your cooperation in checking in all guests, as we will be taking their temperature, checking their health condition, and confirming their travel history, etc.
  • We will not allow guests who have returned or entered Japan from overseas within the past two weeks to visit the hotel. Please note that we may also be unable to accommodate you overnight.
  • To ensure the safety and health of all our guests and hotel employees,we ask that any guests who have a fever, cough, or cold symptoms visit a medical institution before coming to the hotel.
  • Please note that if your temperature is measured upon arrival and you have a fever of 37.5℃ or higher, we may refuse to allow you to stay.
    Please note that there will be no cancellation fee for the above reasons.
  • If you experience any symptoms such as a cough or fever during your stay, please be sure to let us know.
    In that case, we will ask you to seek instructions from a public health center or medical institution. We appreciate your understanding.
  • Please disinfect your hands at the pool entrance and take a shower before entering the water. When the pool is open, there will be a break every 50 minutes to check the water quality and disinfect it. During this time, we ask that you disinfect your hands and wash your eyes. Please note that there are restrictions on the number of people and the time of use to avoid overcrowding.

Measures to prevent droplets from scattering

  • We have installed transparent acrylic boards at the front desk and restaurant cashier to prevent the spread of droplets.
  • When making payments at the front desk, restaurants, and shops, cards, money, etc. are not handed over directly, but rather through a cash tray.
  • At the front desk, restaurant, and shop, we serve customers wearing masks and face guards as necessary.

Disinfection inside the building

  • We have installed disinfectants in the hotel entrance, lobby, restaurants, shops, restrooms, etc., to make it easier for our guests to use the facilities.
    In addition, staff regularly disinfect shared areas (handrails, doorknobs, elevator interior and exterior buttons, toilets, lobby areas, etc.) with alcohol.
  • Doorknobs, switches, and other areas in the guest rooms that guests touch, as well as amenities such as hair dryers and remote controls, are disinfected when the guest rooms are cleaned.
  • In our restaurants, we disinfect chairs, tables, and menus with alcohol every time a customer leaves the restaurant.

Physical distancing

  • There are limits on the number of people allowed in banquet halls, restaurants, and large public baths.
    We ask for your cooperation in shortening your usage time.
  • In order to avoid the three Cs, we have limited the number of people allowed in elevators (4 adults).
  • We have signs in front of the register to encourage customers to maintain an appropriate distance when queuing.
  • In our restaurants, we are limiting the number of tables and chairs available to ensure proper distance between customers.
  • In order to avoid the three C's, we ask that you enter the shop in a one-way manner.
  • There is a limit on the number of people allowed to use the large public bath. We also ask for your cooperation in shortening the time of use. The sauna is currently closed for the time being. Please note that there are no amenities provided at the washstands in the changing rooms.
  • Fitness, billiards, amusement, etc. will be suspended for the time being.
  • The night bar and lobby lounge will also be closed for the time being.
  • We ask that you refrain from visiting the hotel unless you are staying overnight.

Initiatives for Employees

  • Employees are required to wear masks, and when serving customers, they wear gloves and face guards as necessary.
  • Employees are required to take their temperature before coming to work, and if they have a fever or are feeling unwell they are asked to stay home.
  • We have also installed alcohol-based disinfectant at employee facilities such as entrances, offices, and restrooms, and are encouraging employees to thoroughly disinfect their hands, wash their hands, and gargle.
